Where they’re made

Every pair of do+dare undies is cut, sewn, and quality-checked in Toronto, Canada. Small-batch production lets us obsess over fabric feel, fit, and finish.

What’s made here (and what’s on the way)

• Fabric: Historically, our fabric was sourced from China via a Canadian supplier. We’re now working with a Toronto knitting mill to produce our fabric locally going forward. We're SO EXCITED for this!!
  Note: Bamboo doesn’t grow in Canada. The fibre (bamboo-derived viscose) is naturally grown and responsibly sourced abroad, then knit into our fabric here at home, in a GOTS-certified facility.

• Waistband elastic: Originally made in Canada → briefly produced in the USA after a Canadian plant shutdown → now returning to Montréal, QC with a new domestic maker. YAY!

• Labels: Made in Markham, ON.

• Thread: Made in Montréal, QC.

Why this matters

• Local craftsmanship: Skilled Canadian makers sew and finish each pair with care.

• Shorter supply chain: More components made here means tighter quality control and fewer miles.

• Transparent sourcing: When something can’t be grown or made here (like bamboo fibre), we say so - then do the next best thing by knitting and sewing locally.
